PRO-TIP

Soft hairlines give a natural look to Scalp Micro Pigmentation and are best suited to those who wish to have the most undetectable end result possible.

American Straight Hairline

Similar to Drake with sharp deliberate styling.

The edged-up or barber shop fresh look is fuller and straighter. Offering that ‘just stepped out of the barber's chair’ appearance. This sharp look is a very challenging look for an SMP artist but looks fantastic and is especially popular with our clients.

Round Hairline

Similar to David Beckham with higher, faded and softer styling.

This more mature look is still very full throughout just has a natural fade in the front.


It has that I just took the clippers to my head look This is a very clean youthful look but not too youthful at the same time. To achieve this look we spend a lot of time working on the hairline to make it subtle but established.


Widow's Peak Hairline

This hairline incorporates a widow's peak feature in the middle.

This look is very full throughout and still has a bit of a more defined hairline but with some subtle natural fading in the front.


It also has that I just took the clippers to my head look This is a very clean youthful look but not too youthful at the same time. To achieve this look we spend even more time working on the hairline to give it that character you're looking for.

Rugged Hairline

Non-symmetrical hairline with some character and definition. 

This look is very custom and takes a bit more collaboration and reference. It has density throughout and still has a bit more character than any of the other hairlines we offer. Its front is non-symmetrical and will have some unique features or lines, perhaps what you had as a child.

The female frontal hairline usually remains intact. This enables scalp micro pigmentation to be used very effectively.

When a hair follicle is repeatedly pulled, it eventually goes "to sleep" (antigen stage). Often it needs time to "wake up" (telogen phase).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WILL THE INK CHANGE COLOUR?

No, there is zero risk of your SMP ink turning blue or green. We use all black, carbon based inks, which do not contain any blue or green undertones or additives.

HOW MUCH DOES SMP COST?

Pricing is determined after a FREE Consultation is completed. However a general range is between $1,000 - $3,600+ CAD. Pricing is dependant on the amount of balding, thinning, or scarring.

DO YOU USE NEEDLES?

Yes, we do. Basically, this is a form of tattooing with really fine specialty needles and machines. The needles we use are extremely tiny, sizing ranging from 0.15MM - 0.3MM

WILL MY HEAD LOOK LIKE THOSE BLUE MICROBLADE EYE BROWS?

Not a chance! At least when you get your procedure from a professionally trained SMP technician. We use the right equipment, high quality pigments, and we use a series of appointments to ensure the best, long lasting results.

IS IT LIKE GETTING A NORMAL TATTOO?

Generally speaking, kinda! Meaning we use a needle to deliver pigment into your skin. That's where the similarities end, SMP has a very delicate technique with delicate equipment and ink is applied to a different depth than a traditional tattoo.

CAN I HAVE LONG HAIR WITH SMP

YES YOU CAN!

Most clients have fantastic results with SMP, both with a shaved look or longer length hair style. the choice is yours

DO YOU REUSE NEEDLES?

Never! Everything we use in your procedure is sterilized, safe, one time use and disposable. We dispose of all needles in a safe and sanitary manner.

One day we will have our own space until then we love every minute of working with one of the best tattoo studios in Canada.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Generally speaking each sessions is between 2-4 hours. We use a 3+ session strategy and offer a FREE final touch up session to make sure you're looking' oh so fresh and clean.

DO I NEED TO SHAVE MY HEAD?

This is dependent on a few details such as your current hairstyle, current hair loss situation and desired outcome. After your consultation we evaluate your unique situation and will suggest the appropriate length for us to work with.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

Generally it takes approximately 7 10 days for each procedure to heal properly.



HOW LONG DOES THE SMP TREATMENT LAST?

SMP is a semi permanent procedure. The general duration of semi-permanent such as SMP treatments are based on the pigment and equipment used, depth of needle, pressure applied and most importantly aftercare. Skin type, skin care regimen and after-care play a big part and  really promote long lasting results.

WHY DOES IT TAKE MUTLIPLE SESSIONS EXPLAINED

Foundation Stage

The first session in our SMP Treatment Plan is used to lay the foundation. We map out the treatment area carefully after consulting with you. Once we have our work area established, we introduce thousands of impressions that replicate hair follicles.


After the first session, you will notice an immediate difference and a change in the appearance of your scalp and hairline starting to show. Exciting!


Transformation Stage

Two

The second session is used to add the majority of the impressions. We're talking thousands on this layer. These additional layers of density create the appearance of full, dense hair. This is where you will see the SMP magic starting to work and eliminate most of the signs of hair loss.

Three

The Finishing Stage

The third session is used to add additional layers of density and address any areas that need attention. We revisit the impressions from the first two sessions and make any corrections. We also finalize the hairline and have you looking sharp for years to come.

Touch Up

The Follow Up Stage

After some time with your new Scalp Micropigmentation treatment, we will recommend a touch session, within one year. We mainly focus on any areas that are wanting to be stubborn or any areas that may need a little attention. Touch-up sessions are normal and we expect and encourage them on every client. It's just as a way to make sure you're looking your best for years to come. This session provides you with a refresher and addresses any areas of concern. 

Maintenance Session

Refresh Every Couple Years

As time passes, some clients like to have a refresh or maintenance session, to update the look of their SMP.  Maintenance sessions primarily provide you with a refresh of the initial SMP. You may consider this session if you have a special occasion upcoming, or if there has been an event that has caused unforeseen damage or trauma to your scalp micropigmentation treatment.

Additional Sessions

The Finishing Stage Revisited

Sometimes additional sessions are needed. This is totally normal. During the additional sessions we address any areas of concern and reapply any impressions that are not taking.


These sessions allow us to really perfect your look.Making sure you look phenomenal and your feeling good, confident and ready to start your day looking forward to seeing your new reflection.
