We need models for our training sessions. Where new aspiring Scalp Micropigmentation students practice their skills.
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is a revolutionary technique that offers a non-surgical solution for individuals experiencing hair loss or thinning hair. This innovative procedure involves tattooing the scalp to create the appearance of a closely cropped buzz cut or a fuller denser head of hair. As the popularity of Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) continues to grow, the demand for well-trained practitioners is on the rise. To meet this demand, we offer Scalp Micropigmentation training programs. SMP Training offers aspiring technicians the opportunity to practice their skills on willing models.
Below we will explore the benefits of becoming a model for scalp micropigmentation and how it can be a win-win opportunity for both the model and the technician-in-training at SCALPMICRO here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
By volunteering as a model for an Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) treatment, you are providing an invaluable learning opportunity for technicians who are in the process of honing their skills. As trainees work under the supervision of our experienced instructors, they gain hands-on experience and confidence in performing SMP procedures. Your participation helps these technicians refine their techniques and develop their skill sets and artistic abilities, ensuring that they deliver exceptional results to future clients.
Due to the demand for Scalp Micropigmentation treatments from our team, we unfortunately have a bit of a wait at times. However, by volunteering as a model, you can bypass the waitlist and receive the treatment sooner. This is particularly beneficial for those who are eager to address their hair loss concerns and see immediate results. We have set dates for our training sessions usually on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
These days of the week are typically the first to be scheduled by our clients.
One of the significant advantages of being an SMP model is that you typically pay a reduced fee compared to regular clients. This reduced cost reflects the fact that trainees are still perfecting their skills, and the procedure will take longer than it would with an experienced technician. While the reduced fee may vary depending on the training program, it can significantly lower the financial barrier for individuals seeking Scalp Micropigmentation.
As a model, you may also have the opportunity to receive additional sessions of Scalp Micropigmentation for free. This is often offered to models as a way to further refine and perfect the initial results. Technicians may use these additional sessions to make any necessary adjustments, add density, or enhance the overall appearance to achieve the desired outcome. These complimentary sessions allow you to benefit from the expertise of our head technician Mitchell Stals and ensures that you're satisfied with the final result.

Being a model for scalp micropigmentation is a mutually beneficial arrangement that offers numerous advantages. By volunteering, you contribute to the development of aspiring SMP technicians, allowing them to refine their skills and gain valuable experience. In return, you receive the treatment at a reduced fee, skip the waitlist, and may even enjoy additional complimentary sessions to further enhance your results. If you are considering SMP and have the opportunity to be a model, it is worth exploring this option to achieve your desired aesthetic goals while helping trainees embark on their journey to becoming skilled Scalp Micropigmentation practitioners.
