Ensure Your Scalp Micropigmentation Lasts
Protect Your Investment
Please wash the treatment area multiple times a day. Use a mild soap that does not have fragrance or harsh chemicals. The more natural the better. Please keep it clean at all times.
Please use the aftercare that was supplied. The coconut balm in the round black tins is essential to achieving your best healed results. Apply about a thumbnails sized amount to your tattooed scalp 2-3 times a day. Please do this for 5-7 days after every treatment. You can continue to apply it after our treatments are completed to keep the SMP treatment looking it's best for years to come.
Client Success Stories
Understanding the aftercare process is crucial for achieving the best results from your scalp micropigmentation treatment. Here, we address some of the most frequently asked questions to help you navigate your aftercare journey with confidence.
It is advisable to refrain from swimming in pools, hot tubs, or the ocean for at least 14 days post-procedure. Chlorine and saltwater can irritate the scalp and affect the healing process, potentially leading to pigment loss.
You should avoid using any hair products, such as gels, sprays, or oils, for at least 10 days after your scalp micropigmentation. This allows your scalp to heal properly without interference from chemicals.
Mild itching is a normal part of the healing process. However, avoid scratching your scalp, as this can disrupt the pigment. If itching persists or becomes severe, consult your technician for advice.
You can shave your head after the initial healing period, which is typically around 10 days. Use a gentle razor and avoid any products that may irritate your scalp.
Moisturizing your scalp is essential for healing. Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer daily for the first two weeks to keep the skin hydrated and promote healing.
You can return to your regular skincare routine after about two weeks, but be cautious with products that contain strong active ingredients. Always opt for gentle formulations to avoid irritation.
